- 2025 APCIS
- Grand Ballroom Hanra (3F), Seoul Dragon City, Korea
- Wednesday - Friday, November 12 - 14, 2025

Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to the Asia-Pacific Cardiovascular Intervention & Surgery 2025 (APCIS 2025) and the 30th 3-Day Seminar on Congenital Heart Diseases, to be held from November 12 to 14, 2025, at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel in Seoul, Korea.
The theme of APCIS 2025 is “Vital Medical Service of Heart Diseases: Advanced, Basic, and Clinical.” Cardiology and cardiovascular surgery together sustain vital human life. Advancements in technology, basic sciences, and clinical medicine are currently at the forefront of healthcare services in these fields.
This year, we are delighted to announce that The Korean Society for Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery will be the primary organizer of APCIS 2025. The Korean Society of Cardiology will continue its support of APCIS through the Cardiac Pathology Study Group, and the Woochon Cardio-Neuro-Vascular Research Foundation will provide practical solutions for the convention. This tripartite collaboration is based on an MOU between the Korean Society for Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery and the Woochon Foundation, under which our three organizations are committed to working together on both the APCIS and the Heart Museum.
We all agree that human heart specimens are invaluable resources for the education and training of cardiac surgeons and cardiologists. Both APCIS and the 3-Day Seminar on Congenital Heart Diseases will feature dedicated sessions utilizing real human heart specimens. Notably, this convention is the only venue in Korea where young doctors have practical access to such resources.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 3-Day Seminar on Congenital Heart Diseases, we have prepared a special celebratory program. This seminar, dedicated to congenital heart diseases, provides an in-depth review of various surgical and interventional techniques, as well as a unique pathology session covering the gross pathology of congenital heart disease.
This year’s convention will also present an in-depth review of the following topics in adult cardiac diseases:
Sessions covering pediatric heart diseases will feature:
We have also arranged a Special Training Program for residents in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, focusing on:
Satellite sessions will also be available for nursing care, cardiac rehabilitation, and cardiac perfusion:
We look forward to your participation in this unique opportunity for academic exchange and professional development.
Sincerely,
Sung Woon Chung, MD, PhD
